Sometimes the things that hinder my creativity are feelings of frustration, lack of inspiration, or thinking too logically about something. When I am frustrated, I am too stuck in my own fretting to create something worth creating. When I am uninspired, I can't even rely on my own imagination to get my creative juices flowing. In a logical state of mind I get too technical with my ideas, and therefore lose my vision of being creative.
Other times it can be that I may have a mentality too rigid at the time to allow me to loosen up and create something. Or I can have my own expectations to high for what I want to create. Moodiness can also contribute to lack of creativity. If my emotions are unstable, I am not focused enough to express my creativity. I usually have to be in the artistic spirit to draw something or make a collage; anything visual. Although being creative in writing is less difficult for me to achieve. The process of writing is simpler for me to get into it.
